The Municipal Clerk serves as secretary to the governing body, chair of elections and registrar of all births, deaths and marriages within the Township. In addition, the Clerk handles licensing, road opening permits, developer bond reductions, and a variety of other tasks.
Dogs that reside in South Harrison Township must be licensed each January.
Any dog that is 7 months of age or has permanent teeth and is kept within the Township for more than 10 days needs to be licensed in the Township.
Licenses may be obtained in the Municipal Clerk’s office during regular business hours. Licenses may also be obtained by mail or by placing the items listed below in our black drop box at the municipal building: 664 Harrisonville Road, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062
You must enclose following (all information will be returned):
Self-addressed stamped envelope
Copy of rabies certificate valid through November 1st of the current year
Appropriate fees - Cash or Check payable to South Harrison Township

Free Rabies Vaccination Clinic
South Harrison will host their Free Annual Rabies Clinic Saturday, March 8th from 10am – 12pm at the Public Works Garage, 664 Harrisonville Rd., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062.
